We have 2 business arms Midas Home Loans and Midas Financial Planning and whilst our setup does provide 2 revenue streams, it’s unfortunate that legal compliance dictates we can’t run both the related finance arms under the one logo. So having made the decision to redo our branding we needed 2 logos, but they had to be allied to each other so we could have our business premises running them side by side in signage/website etc. Daniel was given a brief that was demanding in the complexity of the elements that I wanted it to deliver and my thinking was it’d be at least 2-3 days before I would even see an initial response. I was happily stunned to have an email come back from him quickly on the same Friday. Come Monday, he delivered something that was very close to what we eventually agreed with, it was THAT good and certainly too good to walk away from. He’d read the brief supplied and acted on it accordingly and justified his direction with some well thought ideas of his own. A complication to the design process was that Daniel, also had to contend with myself as the Practice Manager driving it and also the Owner/Principal having input as well. The Principal as was her right, also saw fit to deliver some non negotiable areas for Daniel to gingerly walk through to come up with a desired solution. In short we were demanding and unrelenting so in our pursuit of the right logos to suit our 2 businesses and I make no apologies for that!
The logos were a key component to our re branding and had to work. Size, shape, colour, gradients of colour, fonts, font sizes, imagery, it was all there for discussion and was discussed at length. Daniel to his credit took on board that there were 2 people who had to be pleased with what he came up with and responded accordingly. The first logo delivered, as good as it was, was shelved with the request for more designs, then more designs. Some had potential, some didn’t (to my mind). However, it was the first one that we found ourselves going back to time and time again. Daniel complied with all of our requests to push, shove, move this, colour that, change the font etc.
The end result is Daniel DELIVERED, he created our logos and he made them work, in fact he tailored them to us and our requirements. His creative flair is quick, intuitive and importantly, he works to the BRIEF, gets a feel for the entity concerned and the people behind it to produce First Class work. His pricing is incredibly reasonable for what he delivers and it’s delivered in multiple formats for multiple uses complete with a corporate colours guide as well. Here’s the truly amazing thing, Daniel is one who realises the value of holding a Client and nurturing them for future times.
